I was very lucky to be chosen to try out the new Pantene Pro-V Micellar water shampoo, conditioner and the foam conditioner from Savvy circle. This collection is created for hair prone to greasiness and now that I am nearing the end of my bottles I thought this would be the time write my review.

 This collection was designed to purify your hair and to nourish it without stripping all the good stuff from your hair. Now when I was trying out the collection I found myself using the foam conditioner more so than the standard one. I’m not sure if it is because it is such a cool concept putting all this foam on your hair but I actually found it to be more forgiving on my hair when it was feeling a little dry I slathered it on my hair and my hair didn’t have any greasy film left behind. My hair has never looked so shiny and it’s now in amazing condition since I started using the collection. I found the shampoo really gave my hair and scalp a really deep clean my hair was squeaky clean... and I mean squeaky you know that feeling when you brush your teeth and they actually squeak well guess what my hair squeaked too.

I really suffer with greasy hair and need to wash it everyday and for once in my life I could leave my hair and wash it on the third day without cheating and using dry shampoo I am absolutely amazed that something like a shampoo and conditioner could fix that for me. It’s not just how clean my hair looked and felt but I usually suffer with an itchy scalp so to my amazement I also haven’t had an itchy scalp once. That could be down to the fact the collection is a silicone free formula.

Here are some photos so you can see how much healthier my hair is looking since using the collection. The first photo is from this week and the second photo is from a about a month ago. The photos don’t do it justice because honestly my hair is so soft now.

My son absolutely hates sleeping, since he was born he never really slept, we even tried co sleeping and that didn't work. But recently I tried the Johnson's bedtime baby oil, I've been using it for the last five days by adding it into his bedtime routine. First he has a bath and once he's dry and his nappy is back on we start doing a nice little massage with the baby oil and he loved helping me. I love the smell of this baby oil it has a really sweet floral smell but not at all sickly, as for the oil itself it's not greasy and absorbs into his skin quite quickly, and another bonus is that it hasn't left any greasy marks on his pyjamas or bedding. The best part of all is that my son has finally slept for five nights in a row from 7pm to 7am, yes it could be a coincidence but for a child that never sleeps I don't think it can be a coincidence, the other great part is that usually it takes an hour or more of him fighting sleep but this week he hasn't fought with me or his dad about going to sleep and has nodded of within thirty minutes. I can't get over this miracle in a bottle. I highly recommend anyone who wants their baby to have amazingly soft skin and smell beautiful to give it a go and who knows it might even help your child sleep like it has for mine.

Yes you read that right! Baby powder used to highlight your cheeks.. No not those cheeks the ones on your face.

It's cheap so what have you got to lose. I don't know about you but I just hate wasting my money on beauty products when I know there is always a hack for a product that is a lot cheaper to buy but the chances are pretty high if you have a baby or child then you are more than likely to own this product already. I saw this on Instagaram and thought I have nothing to lose in trying it.

I began by applying Estée Lauder Doublewear foundation in Fresco I then applied my contouring magic using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream pro series contour kit. I began the baby powder process next so I used a blusher brush to place the powder on my cheeks and whilst I blow dried my hair using my Tresemme Volume Styler I let that baby bake. Around ten minutes later it was time to find out if I had just ruined all my hard work contouring and applying the ever expensive Estée Lauder double wear foundation.

So using the same brush I used to apply the powder I worked in circular motions to work the baby powder into my skin and get rid of any excess powder. I didn't want to look like I had just had a baking disaster with flour all over my face.

And although the photo does not do it justice I'll blame that on the dark clouds and rain I am really impressed. My panda eye bags have nearly disappeared and around 6 hours after applying, my makeup it is still intact.

This beauty hack has a HUGE thumbs up from me so now to head to my local pound shop to stock up on this amazing baby powder.

At a bargain price of only £3 each I couldn't resist picking these bad boys up. I have always loved Make up academy's products, they are really affordable but feel like high end products. I knew I wouldn't be dissapointed. There are 5 shades of the luxe velvet lip lacquer so there is plenty to choose from and one to suit everyone. And they now have a huge range of other lipsticks and glosses to choose from.


I was looking for a lipstick with staying power because when I go out I love talking so much, drinking coffee general baby stuff where my son will smoosh my face and I can kiss his little cheeks and he won't be left with lipstick marks all over him. It is 100% baby proof.

So far I own Reckless, funk and tranquility and I can't wait to own them all. I usually pick mine up from my local Superdrug but Makeup Academy do have a website if you want to order them online.

My favourite colour is Tranquility just because I love a good nude lip, I even rocked this on my wedding day and it lasted all day!! I love how they all go on really smoothly, they are so soft and dry relatively quickly they give you just enough time to tidy up and re apply in areas. The colours are spot on to what you see in the pictures. I highly recommend this product if your looking for a lipstick that will last hours and I'll look great at the same time.
