how to contour

Hi beauties!! I finally got my Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream contour kit, so thought I would write you all a review on this product and a quick tutorial. I first came across this palette when doing my own research on contouring it was plastered all over Pinterest and Instagram so I knew it had to be worth a try. I seriously suffer with a lovely natural panda eye look.

so first off you need to decide on what colour you need when ordering this palette. There are three choices Light, Medium and Dark. I have fairly pale skin even though I have an olive skin tone so I decided to order the palette in Medium.

I love the packaging and the fact they include a name for each colour so when your doing your research it’s a lot easier to understand tutorials; Like on Instagram.

So here is a quick tutorial on how I contoured my face for this makeup look.
Firstly I applied my ESTEE LAUDER double wear foundation in fresco with a stippling brush, let that set then using a disposable lipgloss brush I began drawing all funny looking patterns all over my face.

I started with BANANA on the highest parts of my cheekbones, underneath my brows followed this onto my forehead and down the centre of my nose and finished with a half circle on my chin.

Using the colour CREAM I applied it just under my eyes and then just above the BANANA colour on my forehead.
Now onto CINNAMON, I applied this on the hollows of my cheeks, across my hairline to each ear, then drew a nice shape around my nose where I have highlighted.

Then onto the next step I used the CHOCOLATE colour only lightly because it is so dark on the closest part to my ear in the hollows of my cheeks and a few dashes on my forehead right by my hairline.

I then blended this all in with a nice big foundation brush in circular motions. Finished with BEN NYE banana powder under my eyes and along my jaw to set the makeup.

All in all I can’t fault the product it is really creamy and very pigmented. I didn’t struggle to blend all the makeup together even though it was sat on my skin for a good ten minutes. It is really affordable for those on a budget and I think it will last quite a while.

I wore this makeup for a good 8 hours and it looked no different to when I had just done it. So it’s great for those long days at work or shopping or even on a night out.

I highly recommend this product
